The kit will allow your grill to reach cooking temperatures up to 900°F. The cordierite baking stone within the kit absorbs and evenly distributes heat, eliminating hot spots. Your pizzas will cook quickly, evenly, and with that great smoky, authentic flavor. The kit works with charcoal, wood chunks or similar fuels.
Pizza cook times depend on how hot your fire is. With coals alone pizzas will cook in 5-6 minutes at 700°F. By adding wood chunks and stoking flames in the back of the oven, pizzas can cook in as little as 2.5 minutes at around 900° F.
